The Sunday chill morning of the hills was painted Red with the first edition of JBG Gorkha 10k, organized in Darjeeling in association with the Jai Balaji Group.
The timed chip event with five categories had the participation of 1250+ people from all over Bengal (Darjeeling, Siliguri, Kolkata, Nepal, and so on) bringing us immense pleasure, their enthusiasm was simply infectious, and their energy was echoed in the hills of Darjeeling. Each participant made this event their own.
The race with a beautiful scenario of Kanchenjunga on one side and greenery on another. All the participants of the JBG Gorkha 10k ran all around Darjeeling and covered beautiful spots of the city.
What made this run unique is the climbing up and down the hills for 10 kilometers and cherishing the experience of adrenaline rush. From a common man to a political leader of Darjeeling, each and everyone supported this great cause and made this AIMs certified 10k a grandeur. This healthy and beautiful run made the event memorable.
